PROVENANCE
Fontana FORMIELLO organic apple vinegar is made in Naples, in the south of Italy, through the natural fermentation and ageing of organic pressed apple juice and without the addition of sulphites. Our vinegar is unpasteurized and unfiltered, which means it is rich with living enzymes and contains the nutritious “mother”.
Vinegar has a very old history in Italy where it has been known since Roman times for its therapeutic properties and used for its culinary purposes.
